अलग-अलग categories के लिए maximum permissible age notification में अलग दी गई है। इसलिए reserved category या special relaxation claim करने वाले candidates को prescribed certificate के साथ official notification की detailed age table जरूर check करनी चाहिए।
Recruitment Preference (भर्ती में प्राथमिकता)
यह KRCL recruitment सामान्य all-India open recruitment जैसा नहीं है। Notification में eligible candidates के लिए recruitment preference का specific order दिया गया है।
- Land Loser Candidates: Roha (Maharashtra) से Thokur (Karnataka) के बीच Konkan Railway Line construction के लिए land acquired होने वाले eligible candidates और prescribed family members को first preference दी जाती है।
- Employment Exchange Registered Candidates: Konkan Railway route के jurisdiction में आने वाले specified districts/ areas में valid Employment Exchange registration वाले eligible Maharashtra, Goa और Karnataka domicile candidates को second preference दी जाती है।
- Domicile Candidates & Eligible KRCL Employees: Maharashtra, Goa या Karnataka के eligible domicile candidates और prescribed service वाले KRCL employees को subsequent preference दी जाती है।

Selection Process (चयन प्रक्रिया)
Selection post/category के अनुसार अलग stages में हो सकता है। Broadly recruitment process में निम्न stages शामिल हैं:

- CBAT / OMR Based Aptitude Test — applicable posts के लिए
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) — Track Maintainer के लिए

Section Controller, Station Master और Assistant Loco Pilot के लिए notification में CBAT/OMR Based Aptitude Test का provision है। Track Maintainer candidates के लिए PET qualifying nature का है।
Final appointment के लिए medical fitness, educational/community certificates और other required verifications पूरी होना जरूरी है।
Exam Pattern (परीक्षा पैटर्न)
KRCL Recruitment 2026 का CBT (Computer Based Test) objective-type Multiple Choice Questions पर आधारित होगा। Candidate Question Paper के लिए English, Hindi, Marathi, Konkani या Kannada में से किसी एक language का चयन कर सकता है।

Physical Efficiency Test - PET (शारीरिक दक्षता परीक्षा)
Track Maintainer के लिए PET qualifying nature का है। CBT merit के आधार पर candidates को PET के लिए बुलाया जा सकता है।

Important Instructions (जरूरी निर्देश)
- Application submit करने से पहले post-wise eligibility carefully verify करें।
- Land Loser, Employment Exchange और Domicile preference claim करने वाले candidates application में अपना status correctly declare करें।
