Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2026: इंडियन ओवरसीज बैंक (IOB) ने Generalist और Specialist Officers के विभिन्न पदों पर कुल 291 vacancies के लिए भर्ती निकाली है। यह भर्ती Junior Management Grade Scale-I, Middle Management Grade Scale-II और Middle Management Grade Scale-III में की जा रही है। योग्य उम्मीदवार 29 अगस्त 2026 से 15 सितंबर 2026 तक ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

इस भर्ती को केवल “IT Officer भर्ती” समझना सही नहीं होगा। IOB ने Branch Management, IT, Information Security, Information Systems Audit, Database Administration, Network Administration, Cyber Security, Credit, Risk और Security जैसे अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों में कुल 14 post codes जारी किए हैं।

इस भर्ती में सबसे अधिक 100 vacancies Manager – Branch Management के लिए हैं। इसके बाद Manager – IT में 65 और Manager – Credit में 35 vacancies हैं। इसलिए केवल IT professionals ही नहीं, banking/credit background वाले experienced candidates के लिए भी यह recruitment महत्वपूर्ण है।

Educational Qualification – किस पद के लिए कौन सी पढ़ाई चाहिए?

यह भर्ती experienced professionals के लिए है। इसलिए केवल graduation होने से सभी posts के लिए eligibility नहीं बनती। हर post code के लिए अलग educational qualification और post-qualification experience निर्धारित किया गया है।

1. Manager – Branch Management

• किसी भी discipline में Graduation.
• Minimum age: 23 years.
• Maximum age: 33 years.
• 3 years का officer-level experience किसी Scheduled Public Sector Bank या Scheduled Private Sector Bank में.
• इसमें कम से कम 2 years Branch Banking experience होना चाहिए.
• Scale-I Branch Head का experience preferred है.

2. Manager – IT

• B.E./B.Tech in CS, IT, Electronics & Communication या Electronics & Instrumentation.
• या MCA.
• या M.Sc. Computer Science/IT.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification IT experience.
• कम से कम 3 years Banking/BFSI environment का experience.

3. Manager – Information Security

एक candidate यदि एक से अधिक eligible relaxation categories में आता है तो cumulative relaxation के नियम भी लागू हो सकते हैं, लेकिन Government guidelines के अनुसार prescribed upper ceiling का पालन किया जाएगा।

IOB Salary 2026 – Officer का वेतन कितना है?

इस भर्ती में salary post की scale पर निर्भर करती है। Official notification में 01 August 2026 के अनुसार basic pay scales इस प्रकार दिए गए हैं।

Bond / Minimum Service Condition

यह जानकारी बहुत से recruitment articles में छूट जाती है। IOB notification के अनुसार selected candidates को Financial Service Indemnity Bond execute करना होगा।

Posting कहाँ मिलेगी?

IOB के अनुसार selected candidates को Bank की requirement के अनुसार भारत में कहीं भी posting दी जा सकती है। बाद में Bank की आवश्यकता के अनुसार candidate को India में किसी भी branch/office में transfer किया जा सकता है।

इसलिए इस recruitment को “अपने home town में ही posting” वाली job समझना सही नहीं है।

Selection Process – IOB Recruitment 2026 में Exam होगा?

हाँ। Written/Online Examination होगा और उसके बाद Interview होगा.

Official notification के अनुसार selection process में Online Examination और Interview शामिल हैं। Bank qualification, experience और profile के आधार पर preliminary screening/shortlisting भी कर सकता है। केवल eligibility पूरी करने से exam या interview call की guarantee नहीं मिलती।

Negative Marking: गलत answer पर उस question के allotted marks का 1/4 mark deduct किया जाएगा। Unattempted question पर penalty नहीं है।

Minimum Qualifying Marks

Online Examination में General Awareness और English Language sections के लिए अलग minimum qualifying marks prescribed नहीं हैं। Professional Knowledge section में prescribed qualifying requirement है।

• Reserved candidates: Online Examination में 30% minimum qualifying marks.
• Unreserved candidates: Online Examination में 35% minimum qualifying marks.
• Bank आवश्यकता के अनुसार selection criteria में बदलाव का अधिकार रखता है.

Interview कितने Marks का होगा?

Interview के maximum 100 marks होंगे। Interview में role-related industry exposure, subject knowledge और communication skills को assess किया जाएगा।

Final Merit कैसे बनेगी?

Final Selection Weightage: Online Examination को 80% और Interview को 20% weightage दिया जाएगा।

इसका मतलब यह है कि केवल written exam में अच्छे marks आना पर्याप्त नहीं है। Candidate को interview में भी qualifying performance देनी होगी और final merit में exam तथा interview दोनों का combined weightage देखा जाएगा।

क्या एक Candidate एक से ज्यादा Post के लिए Apply कर सकता है?

हाँ। Official notification के अनुसार candidate eligibility conditions पूरी करने पर एक से अधिक posts के लिए apply कर सकता है। हालांकि यदि candidate ने उसी post के लिए multiple applications submit की हैं, तो last submitted application ही considered होगी।

Practical Tip: Multiple posts के लिए apply करने से पहले हर post की educational qualification, experience, age और certification requirements अलग-अलग verify करें।

OBC Candidates के लिए खास सावधानी

OBC reservation का benefit लेने वाले candidates का certificate Central Government prescribed requirements के अनुसार होना चाहिए। Certificate में Non-Creamy Layer clause होना चाहिए और caste name Central Government list से match होना चाहिए।

Important: अगर OBC candidate creamy layer में आता है या उसकी caste Central Government list में नहीं है, तो उसे OBC reservation का benefit नहीं मिलेगा और application में category declaration पर इसका प्रभाव पड़ सकता है।

EWS Candidates के लिए जरूरी जानकारी

EWS reservation के लिए prescribed Income and Asset Certificate जरूरी है। Official notification में family income तथा land/property criteria से संबंधित Government of India conditions दी गई हैं।

EWS claim केवल valid prescribed certificate के आधार पर स्वीकार किया जाएगा। इसलिए सिर्फ income कम होने से EWS benefit automatically नहीं मिलता।

PwBD Candidates के लिए सुविधाएँ

PwBD candidates के लिए scribe और compensatory time से संबंधित provisions notification में दिए गए हैं। Eligible candidates को application form में scribe/compensatory time की requirement सही तरीके से indicate करनी चाहिए।

Eligible candidates को prescribed conditions के अनुसार प्रति घंटे 20 minutes compensatory time मिल सकता है। Scribe लेने वाले candidates को Bank द्वारा निर्धारित eligibility और undertaking requirements follow करनी होंगी।

Exam Centre से जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी

Online Examination भारत के विभिन्न centres पर आयोजित किया जाएगा। Candidate को possible options में centre preference देने का अवसर मिल सकता है, लेकिन Bank administrative feasibility और response के आधार पर centre बदलने या additional centre जोड़ने का अधिकार रखता है।

एक बार allotted centre बदलने का request सामान्यतः entertain नहीं किया जाएगा।
